Work detection improvements

By updating the Gen 4 display to the newest Gen 4 software version 22-2 operators benefit from an improved work detection.

By sending work plans to the Gen 4, the operator is automatically alerted of planned work as soon as he enters the field.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Accepting planned work may be done with the push of one button.

Gen4 displays updated to the software version 22-2 feature an improved work detection behavior.

The work detection popup screen now appears as soon as any part of the machine enters the field.

Driving longer distances in the field is avoided and work can be started directly at the beginning of the field. This ensures high quality                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         documentation data.

To keep the display screen clean and structured, a windows shade is displayed when entering a field neighboring the current                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            working field. The operator has the option of starting work from the shade but will not be distracted if work on the current field                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            is not yet complete.

Work Planner - Send Seasons to the Gen 4
Automatically set the season in your Gen 4 display

Work Planner now automatically sets the season in Gen 4 displays with the Gen 4 software version 22-2.

Simply use the dropdown menu in the Work Planner to change the season and plan work according to the season. Work Planner will                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        automatically send the season information as part of a work plan to the Gen 4. The display will automatically prepopulate the season                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              and assign documentation data to the desired season

 

Batch editing of season

Use the newly implemented season batch editing to move planned work from one season to another. Simply select the work plans                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    that you want to move to another season and choose “Season” from the “Edit” menu.

Benefit from the correct season in Analyze

Adding the season to work plans ensures to unlock the full capabilities of Operations Center’s Analysis tool. Easily analyze                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                all operations in a season from tillage to harvest.

Automatically set the correct season for tillage, seeding and applications done in fall, and have all documentation data                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      assigned to the year when the crop gets harvested.

Change seasons in the Gen 4

The Gen4 display will automatically prepopulate the season but provides the flexibility to still change the season manually.

Within the work setup page, a new classifier allows to manually adjust the season.
