JDLink is the modem in John Deere Precision AG that is powering the connection between the customers fleet to the John Deere Operations Center application. It is the first step in having each machine send agronomic data and machine data to the Operations Center and it allows you to manage your farm operation from anywhere and anytime.

The JDLink modem enables the communication with the equipment, partners, managers, and owners to see near-real time live data updated, every five seconds in the Operations Center Mobile app. Connected John Deere equipment with JDLink helps you to manage the complete digital farming operation. JDLink is the technology for near real time information in Operations Center mobile. To ensure producers have the best experience, JDLink connectivity will be available at no additional charge for all compatible equipment and modems.

Hardware and connectivity makes sharing with partners simple. In John Deere Operations Center, growers can establish a sharing relationship with trusted advisors and partners (John Deere dealers, agronomists, etc.) and electronically share a view of their machine and field data with whomever they choose.

Partnering with the John Deere dealer and sharing machine performance data allows for Connected Customer Support. Dealers can remotely diagnose issues without leaving their shop, and then dispatch the closest service vehicle. Connected customer support allows the features of JDLInk such as Remote Display Access (RDA) , Service Advisor Remote (SAR), Machine Alerts, and Expert Support to report back to farm managers, Dealers, and other trusted partners.

Wireless Data Transfer (WDT) is another way JDLink hardware and connectivity make sharing data simple and efficient. With JDLink compatible hardware, there is no need to manually transfer farm data files with USB drives. With WDT, it remotely sends files between the Operations Center and connected machines.
