​Atlantic Tractor RTK Network

StarFire™ RTK provides highly accurate corrections to the AutoTrac™ guidance system. It utilizes a local, ground-based reference station that transmits the high-accuracy +/- 1 in. corrections to a machine StarFire receiver via RTK Radios. Because of the proximity of the base station to the machine, nearly all satellite drift is eliminated, and the position is highly repeatable. In order for the base-station signal to reach the machine, a direct line of sight is required. Below shows the the Atlantic Tractor RTK Coverage. Each RTK base covers a 12 mile radius depending on obstructions.

​JD Mobile RTK

Since correction data is transferred over a cellular network, it may be available in areas limited by the line-of-sight requirement of traditional RTK radios. As long as the receiver is inside the M-RTK network and has adequate cell coverage, M-RTK corrections should be available. There is no need to switch base stations inside the network.
